    Topics: wetting and dewetting, adhesion and friction, stability and morphological changes due to intermolecular interactions, aging, relaxation behavior of polymers in restrictive spaces.
  • Growth processes (crystallization) of complex systems
    Topics: processes of organization of molecules on different length scales, Formation of hierarchical structures and materials with high complexity and functionality.
  • Molecular self-assembly and formation of functional structures on surfaces
    Topics: Supramolecular ordered structures with submolecular precision. Molecular selfassembly to create functional and controllable surfaces. Hybrid structures made of polymers and nanoparticles.
